The instructor may not be able to give an opportunity to take a makeup test on a different day.
Students should review their course materials prior to taking the test and work on their German skills. The exam is a test on paper that assesses the ability to read, speak, and write in German. The exam results are presented on a scale from A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has attained language level A1.
